Weighting Factors: “Weight” box

This cluster of three (3) check boxes will provide input to adjust the weighted

handicapping algorithm.  These boxes adjusts for weight differences among the

horses in the field.  The sliding scale below will determine the weighted

value this cluster has on the overall total points.

<5lb       if a horse carries 5 lbs. less than the horse with the heaviest weight, credit

is applied based up the sliding scale below.

<10lb      if a horse carries 10 lbs. less than the horse with the heaviest weight, credit

is applied based up the sliding scale below.

<15lb      if a horse carries 15 lbs. less than the horse with the heaviest weight, credit

is applied based up the sliding scale below.

Weighting Factors: “Weight” rating

This sliding scale adjusts the weighted handicapping algorithm.  By increasing

the value of any factor (hold the left mouse key down while you slide the scale), that

criteria has a higher weighted value in the overall total points.  If a box is checked

within this cluster, the horses that meet the criteria, will be given points based up

the value of the scale.
