Weighting Factors: “Change” boxes

This check box will provide input to adjust the weighted handicapping algorithm.

The cluster of check boxes adjusts for changes associated with the Horse for this race.

Depending upon your selection, the sliding scale below the cluster will determine the

weighted value this cluster will have on the overall total points.

Shipper            takes credit if the horse has been “shipped” in from another track.

Jockey             takes credit if the “jockey” has been changed since the last race.

Trainer            takes credit if the “trainer” has been changed since the last race.

Distance          takes credit if the horse has been entered in a race with a

different “distance”.  For example, 6 furlong-to-a mile.

Track Surface takes credit if the horse has been entered in a race with a

different “track surface”.  For example, dirt-to-turf.

Weighting Factors: “Change” rating

These sliding scales adjusts the weighted handicapping algorithm.  By increasing

the value of any factor (hold the left mouse key down while you slide the scale), that

criteria has a higher weighted value in the overall total points.  This scale adjusts

for the cluster of “change” check boxes associated with the Horse for this race.
